Vintage royal purple dress

Get ready to party with this groovy vintage dress! The previous owner described it as hailing from the 1970s, and it has plenty of life left for its age! I love this dress so much; unfortunately, it's a bit too snug and short on me. ☹️ My loss is your gain! The color is difficult to capture on camera--a deep royal purple that looks slightly blue in some lights. Wide ribbon trim with holographic strips woven through it adds contrast and a dash of bling. The fabric is a medium-weight, textured synthetic--possibly polyester--cut in a fitted, high-necked bodice and full skirt that's perfect for twirling. There is some slight pulling on the front of the skirt (see photo), but not super noticeable. I have machine-washed it in cold water and allowed it to air-dry, and it came out great! Measurements are provided in the photos. Compare with a comfortably-fitting top or dress you own to ensure a good fit. Comes from a smoke-free, cat-friendly home. Questions?
