Vtg 60s Tropical Bamboo Handle Reversible Purse Handbag

vintage, circa 60s. very much resortwear of that decade, I can definitely see styles like this in West Palm Beach! I would not be surprised if this bag was heavily inspired by designer and brand Lilly Pulitzer, which was born out of this decade! two styles in one -- you get a solid green color and a tropical green print. the outside layer can be flipped to one of the two styles and then attached on with buttons that mimic pearls or seashells. there is a little bit of staining on the outside front of the inner lining (not visible when worn since it is covered by the decorative layer). I have not tried to wash or get rid of the stain, however, I imagine the washing and cleaning process to be very easy given the removable outer layer! faux bamboo handles
