lillylefulman Totally hear you. A good friend was in love - so in love - with her guy for 7 years! She finally broke up with him, moved out, moved on...she went into therapy...seriously, she said it really helped her and started dating again (a year later). She worked on her mind, her body...and several relationships later - she is now married to an incredibly nice guy. So sweet and considerate. You and her both seem to have the patience of Mother Teresa. 💗

lillylefulman Children can really pull at our heartstrings. I believe we meet who we're suppose to meet, spend whatever amount of time we're suppose to with them, and learn from those relationships. Ideally there's little aggravation...just healthy conscientious effort.

lillylefulman The struggle is in knowing when we're suppose to let go when it's time, that's always hard in both platonic and romantic relationships. Like toxic friendships are sometimes really hard to leave behind. I had some of those. But I learned from them.

I know that in public no one knows I'm disabled because i look normal but I have a lot of pain related issues like I have a lipoma (fatty tissue) wrapped around my spinal cord & also my I'm getting shorter cuz my vertebrae is deteriorating from the pressure of my Fusion

lillylefulman It's really insightful that you are aware of the toxicity. That takes a lot of courage to face up to that realization. Sometimes, the most toxic situations are somehow the most interesting...they're drama filled and we get used to the highs and lows. Once we are in a nurturing, sane, and loving relationship...life is so much easier though.

Oh and I take pain meds & get shots and my nerves burned in my back (which sounds bad but are amazing) all thanks to my wonderful pain management doctor I see. He makes my life livable

evelynbwong @amylm0309 📊📉📊 Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you went through a lot! I have scoliosis too and even had to wear a "back brace" from ages 13 - 17. My body is slightly unaligned; my left shoulder higher than the right and my left arm is longer. The brace helped it from getting worse... 💁🏻 Scoliosis is "idiopathic," which means that doctors have no idea what causes it. ?? I'm the only one in my immediate family that has it. None of my relatives have it either. 💁🏻📊

southernwisdom @evelynbwong I have Idiopathic Scoliosis too!! I had to wear a brace from 11 to 14, then I had my first surgery at 14 yrs old. I was 86°. Then 2 yrs later my Titanium Rod Broke. When I was 23 I had my second surgery (I finally went to Dallas). Then a screw popped out of place & pushed my Vertebrae out. The pain was so bad & caused so much nerve damage. They made me wait a yr to fuse before they took it out. My mom had to bring me up there and refused leave so they would make the appointment.

They basically burn the connection between the neutrons blocking the pain signal to my brain. Now I can actually live. Oh & i am 20° now

I was in a normal room then my blood pressure dropped to 62/46 (I may have that backwards) I told myself i didn't just go through my surgery two weeks ago and all that to just die and I recovered

Then got a staph infection for 5 months which made 3 holes in my big bone in my arm. ..I have an autoimmune Disease that made my bones grow over the Hardware my arm so I had another surgery to get it taken out

Weird the neuropathy started after I started getting migraines. Are you on the fibro app? Unlike you though I'm older...I'm sorry to hear all of this. Hoping for a miracle for you. brunomars90 @southernwisdom That's what I thought. I definitely see the part Pitbull. Are they fully grown? They are adorable and bring back memories of my aunt's American pitbull. His name was Bruno and she had him for like 10 and a half years. He passed away 🙏 like 4 yrs ago, but he was an awesome guard dog. She has a Rottweiler now and his name is Hulk. 😂

All we have is the good memories and pictures to reflect on and remember them by. Our pets become family and that's why it's so hard to let go. 😔 What helps is when you find companionship with your new pets, but one never forgets their first.

I have 2 bling hoodies XS that are more to the waist line & fitted. then i have a tunic length oversized hoodie in Medium. Now that style my youngest daughter loves to wear becuz she is very modest & likes the longer length. So it really depends on the style honey. What do u like to wear? or style? maybe i can help that way.

annasposhalley @southernwisdom and hoping this helps.... granddaughter is 11 skinny minnie, wears and XS in VS fitted hoodies. my youngest daughter 18, she is in a juniors Large, she wld wear a large fitted or a medium in classic hoodie tunic i was telling you about . My oldest 36, wears a large or xl at VS. i wld say she was a normal womans size 10.

annasposhalley @southernwisdom oh my goodness, honey... awww i am so sorry. and wow that is awesome about the pain meds. they are the worst a double edged sword. You can do it, i will cheer you on!!! On VS, i would think you were a med or large at the most. my youngest daughter is 120-130 and wears mediums. we wont count lil Bella she the xs are a lil big on her, lol But my oldest is about 150-165 and wears a large & Xl at VS. I hope that helps.

annasposhalley @southernwisdom i sent over 2 hoodies that i have left, hoping you could see the difference in them. the xs style is the fitted and hits at waist, a lil hard to see in the pic as it cropped right at her waist, lol but the other one is more of a classic hoodie style. maybe looking at these will help you find your style, then u can go for the size you need once you decide.

I thought I was going to be crippled but RA can be manageable when not a whole lot of stress I found out. It’s been a long time since I haven’t had a whole lot of stress. I contacted them and have not heard back. So I made a post of my necklace and a thing that showed the letter accusing me of selling a fake for $1999 🙄. So my post was shared quite a bit, it said I challenge Poshmark to call any local David Yurman Jeweler in the dfw area and I will show up with my authentic necklace.

I decided to start an online boutique last summer and then I was hit by a drunk driver. It was nuts. I’m a therapist, I’ve been working for chiropractors for many years. I’ve worked with all types of people and those that have scoliosis from severe to moderate. Anyhow, I thought I’d just say that I admire your perseverance in spite of the ordeal of what you’ve been through.

I remember going to physical therapy one time, and the physical therapist that was a woman (you’d think a woman would be more understanding about body image!!) told me “I don’t know how you wear a bathing suit in public” made me feel like absolute crap.

My Pain Management Dr told me that my back was crookeder than a politician... He knows I use humor to deal with all my struggles, lol. Anyways I was on my pain medicine for 8 years & in April I switched over from three 20 mg Oxycontin & four 10/375mg Hydrocodone a day to this awesome medicine

southernwisdom @kolie82 The new medicine called Belbuca is a film that you put in your mouth that is chemically different than other opioids. In other words I don't hurt anymore. But I want it off of everything so now I don't even take that I just take Ibuprofen. The reason I can deal with all of it is because I get shots in my back and nerve oblations aka burning of my nerves so I don't feel a thing
