WEDGEWOOD Art Noveau Bone China Teapot - This pretty little, personal-size teapot is from The Peninsula New York Hotel's Gotham Lounge, where afternoon tea has been served for decades. Custom designed by Wedgewood for the hotel. This is from the late 80's / early 90's before the hotel was renovated. Before it's renovation in 1998, the hotel was a tribute to the Art Noveau period from top to bottom as it was still using the design from the previous owner, Maxim's of Paris. This teapot features a gorgeous floral spray front and back on a white china with a simple pink border around the top opening. Bottom imprinted with the Wedgewood brand, made in England. Truly rare and not available on the open market. I received as a gift when I worked at the hotel. Measures: 4" High 4" Base Diameter
