Barn Quilt Square Hand Crafted Suitable for Hanging

I’ve always loved seeing the different barn quilts scattered across the country. This reminds me of one of those. I grabbed it at an estate sale in Ocean Springs, MS. I know these squares are sometimes made with fabric from special keepsake clothing, and also from clothing that was worn out and no longer usable for clothing. The bright pink material if this square looks as if it’s from a scarf. The stitches are all hand sewn and the colors are vivid and bright. That being said, some of the stitches are loose and some of the fabric is frayed. There is a small bleach spot on one side. To me, this is part of the charm of the piece, but please look at the photos to make sure it’s charming to you, too! This would be beautiful framed and hung. Thanks for looking.
