Back when this fit me, it was my go to choice slightly fancy events like parent parties or evening cocktails where I did not want to wear a dress. Paired with dressy pants or a skirt, the crystal beads and buttons gave this set just enough bling without being over the top. Shell is sleeveless with modest scoop neck. Cardigan is open front with one glass spherical ball as the button with elbow length sleeves. A few loose beads as shown. Please see photos for additional details.

With pit to pit being 16”, that is a 32’ bust. that seems like it is very small for a M. I am a size 6, and usually wear a Small/Medium, but my bust is 37’’. Wondering, does this garment have stretch?

@mlyne7 Yes, it is a stretchy knit. Vintage clothing tends to run smaller than contemporary styles. A vintage Medium is probably more like a Small today. LMK if I can answer any more questions for you.
