This is our little girl at Santa Cruz Beach wearing her life jacket. The reason why we used it is because the ocean is unpredictable. Without leash she will run to China... water is ice and I don't want to go swim! Its always a good idea to play it safe and get your dog a vest when choosing to be near water. worldcollection @mrswright1982 Posh deleted some of our pet clothing when we first started poshing so I stopped adding all the good items we carry in pet products. Our German Shepard in this photo is 50 pounds. It is fully adjustable. Dogs generally can swim but if they are too heavy or have pain swimming fully on their own may hinder the swim. I understand swimming for dogs who have arthritis is very beneficial.

I am really interested in this. 1) Is there a handle on the top of the jacket? 2) We have a Scottie, she wears medium in sweaters, harnesses, etc. Do you think the medium will fit her? worldcollection @pkdegenkolbe Hello. Yes this has a handle on the top. The measurement goes by measuring your dog from the base of the neck to base of the tail should be around 16" to make the Medium fit her. Let me know if that works for you!

worldcollection @pkdegenkolbe Large is 20" Neck to tail, Medium is 16" And what I carry only is Medium. The straps are adjustable (Small is 12") So you kind of between a small and a medium and do you sell on Poshmark? You can always sell it if it does not work for your pooch.
