This is a Herend porcelain soap dish featuring an orange and gold dolphin or koi fish design with peonies and Chinoiserie elements. The dish is 5 inches in diameter, 6 inches long, and 3 1/8 inches tall. It is a rare, vintage item with a glossy finish and 3D features. The model number is Herend 8759 and it was made in Hungary. The soap dish is free-standing and does not require assembly. It would be a unique addition to any bathroom decor. This very old item has a crack. I am not certain but I think the tail may have been repaired. If so it was well done.
