Vintage 1980s Red Diane Von Furstenberg Union Made suit (14) and skirt (12) set

Vintage 1980s DVF jacket and skirt set. Union made in the USA, dry clean only, 100% wool with acetate lining. Shoulder pads provide structure to this classic 1980s suit. Brass coloured double buttons at front (the top two are decorative) and three buttons at each cuff. There is a button closure inside the jacket to keep it in place. Real pockets with flaps. Skirt features zipper and hook and eye closure. Please be aware that vintage sizes run differently to today's. The jacket is a size 14 but that would be closer to a medium or large by today's standards and the skirt, a medium. It is not a plus sized set. Flat measurements in inches: Jacket (size 14): Pit2Pit seams:20 Shoulders:17.5 Waist: 18.5 Hips:20 Sleeves: 24 (from shoulder seams to cuffs) Length:27.5 Skirt (size 12): Waist: 15 Hips:20 Length:24.5 The set is clean although it has been in storage for a while, so there may be a vintage smell, as well as some normal wear such as fading (relative to when the item was new). There is a small pull on right front side of jacket and on back of skirt, right next to the slit opening. This set otherwise holds its own and is a beautiful addition to the lover of vintage 80s luxury and style.
