Vintage Swank Profile in Black of a Spartan/Roman Solider with Silver Tone Sunburst Pattern Cuff Links, Metal and Resin, Mens Fashion Accessory
What a classic touch to finish a button-down shirt! This listing is for a set of vintage Swank cuff links which feature a profile in black of a Spartan or Roman soldier with a silver tone sunburst pattern encircling it. According to Worthpoints website "The company that made Swank products was founded as Attleboro Manufacturing Co. in 1897 by Samuel Stone and Maurice Baer. The business, located in Attleboro, Massachusetts, became Swank Products, Inc. in 1936. The name changed again to Swank, Inc. in 1941, but the Swank moniker was used in advertising as early as 1927. The original Attleboro Manufacturing Co. concentrated on women’s jewelry until 1908 when they added the subsidiary to produce men’s accessories. One of their early successes in the men’s realm was the Kum-a-Part snap button cufflink, which redirected the company’s focus to men’s items in the late 1920s."
It looks like this men's fashion accessory is made of metal and resin. It has a 7/8" diameter and is in excellent vintage condition.
