These are known as Alaska's Good Luck Charms and a Billiken is officially defined as “The God of The Way Things Ought To Be,”. Brings good luck to those who own one but even more luck to give as a gift. From Alaska circa 1930- 1940's. These great Billiken earrings have a gold nugget "navel." They are suspended by screw backs and are in excellent condition. They would make great charms if removed from the screw backs. Possibly carved from walrus tooth. See photos for details and condtion.
