Vintage Trifari Signed '80s Faux Pearl Diamante Gold Plated Mesh Collar Necklace A classic Trifari necklace which is the essence of 1980s power-dressing. Skilfully designed and beautifully manufactured, this gold tone mesh collar necklace is in a 'gate' or 'brick' pattern with a subtle but eye-catching faux pearl and crystal fixed pendant at the front. The necklace has been carefully made to lie flat on the skin without ever buckling or stiffening. It is of a very fine quality and moves easily with the wearer by simply 'pleating' at any point along its entire length. It is a lovely piece, both wearable and collectible. The clear makers mark on the back of the pendant is Trifari TM dating it to the late 1980s or even early 90s. The necklace is in overall excellent condition. All the crystals are present and original. The plating has some minor corrosion in two spots but I have actually managed to clear away most of it. There may be some small amount of residue left. Measures approximately 18" long and the chain is 1/2" wide.
