I agree about acupuncture! I swear by it...great for sleep as well. I also had several docs over the years tell me that with chronic issues involving pain & inflammation, 2 acetaminophen & 2 ibuprofen often work when narcotics won't/don't! @schoomkie @abstractdreams 👍🏻I do get acupuncture. Not as often as I would like, but I LOVE and swear by it. It (or nothing) will stop me from my migraines though😢 all my life I've had them. Been to every type of clinic/neurologist etc. have had every test in the books. No answers. I can help prevent them by avoiding the triggers I have figured out, and attempt to control once I have one with dark/quiet/pressure/neck massage/and combo of excederin and maxalt (a triptan) 😖😁

Love this!! ❤️ Ok I'll give it a whirl- 1. I'm a Christian, but love all ppl and have friends from every tribe, tongue, nation, and religion. 2. I was a walking eating disorder for most of my life, my parents at one point were told to plan my funeral. 3. I was diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia at age 11, but still believe God will COMPLETELY heal me one of these days😉 4. My daughter is a real life miracle, I was told I would never have kids🙏🏻

Plan to get back to it when my son goes to college. 8) I've painted murals, especially in church nurseries. I imbue them with love to go out to the children they watch over. 9) I write songs. 10) I wish that I played the piano or guitar. I was too ADD to stick w the lessons.

I broke both of my legs. I was in the Hospital for a month. I had 5 surgeries, then went to a rehab to learn to walk again and was in there until the end of February. Even though I know I'm going to have more surgery in the Fall, I am very lucky to be alive, still have both of my legs & my right foot.

@jeanscenequeen @mimismenagerie No, I lose a foot which was a miracle. It my right foot and the totally reconstructed it. I still walk with a cane or a rolling walker. I can only sit, stand or do any activity in short bursts; like right after doing the dishes I have to sit or lay down.

@mimismenagerie Thank you so much for your prayers and support! Honestly, once I found that Posh was a place that I had found so many wonderful strong caring women, it has helped my outlook a lot. You can only watch so much TV. There are many days that I just don't feel well and will not be very active on Posh. But, I try my best to make up for it when I do feel good.

@jeanscenequeen the Gastro dr takes walk ins from 7-8 am so if I'm there before 7 I should be ok. If not I will have to wait all day. But to go to the ER, I haven't met my $3000 deductible, then have $250 fee for ER, then 250 day plus the co insurance and then all the tests and de copays and all. Since Obamacare went into effect it's just made healthcare so UNaffordable for us.

I would thank her for the suggestion and tell her that she's free to run her closet the way she chooses & so are you! That's pretty rude! As a rule, I will often take more off for a big bundle. But it's based on a few things: my relationship to the buyer, how long I've had an item listed & how bad I want to get rid of it, how much they spend and...I decide how much over 20% on 2 items (which is my bundle setting) I want to go! @vickyss

@vickyss : On more than one occasion when I've been offered a ridiculous price, like 65% off my asking price, I went to the person's closet & saw what amounted to retail prices on used items & a 5% discount on 3 or 4 items! Really??😕Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I replied that I'm flexible about discounting single item prices...by 10% or so, not 65%! Never did hear back. Lol!

@vickyss : those people can sometimes be scammers, they beg, plead, whine & harass a seller into lowering prices (which most generous Posher's do, often even including extras in the deal) and then they see their items, including their original pics being resold here & elsewhere @inflated prices!! I think that one of the reasons that Posh decided to designate Mentors. That's what we do & I'm happy to help. I think based on your closet & stats, you'd come out on top in a dispute, and the reason I would contact Posh preemptively. Along the way, I thought "uh-oh, a lot of these updates don't sound too good 😟😓😰" & got nervous, thinking "oh no, the next update might say she died 😢😥😪" I hit the back arrow & saw the "In Memoriam" post 😕🙁☹️ I lost my dog after 15 years so I understand the pain 💔😭 I hope you're hanging in there OK 🙏😘

Having been @ the vets that morning, I'm wishing it was clearer & I would've made the call then instead of doing the "for your own good" things like subq fluids, and using the syringe to try to feed her when it was all unneeded.💔

But I'll never forget that pain; for 3 days, I didn't eat & mostly slept & cried 😭 I was on the subway from a concert when he died; he lay down to sleep & just never woke back up. My mother found him dead ☹️ & called my father's cell to tell him. He told me when I got in the car & I cried all the way home 😭 When we got home, I saw my mother crying, too (which broke my 💔 even more; she is SO NOT a cryer ☹️).

I LOVE this! 1. I'm an OCD clean freak. 2. I actually trust my teenagers. 3. "Messy hair don't care" is not my motto. 4. I like wine. 5. I love water and the beach and the pool but I can't swim. I play in the shallow end with toddlers. 6. I'm a jury analyst so I study people and sometimes I wish I wasn't right. 7. We own a consignment shop. 8. I love Longaberger baskets. 9. I could put mayonnaise on just about anything. 10. I love dive bars with pool tables and karaoke.

Ok, I had to think about it for a while... 1) My twin and I are fraternal. 2) I was disqualified from the district spelling bee in 4th grade because I didn't ask for the word in a sentence and spelled "bizarre" instead of "bazaar." 3) I pierced my own belly button with a safety pin when I was 15. 4) I know the alphabet and at least 50 other signs in ASL. 5) I like numbers, but not in a math kind of way.

10 things you don't know about me 1) I'm a breast cancer survivor. The trigger was too much estrogen hormone replacement therapy. 2)my daughter Lisa had a massive heart attack on 26th of May. She was only 54, but obesity was the main cause 3) I love my family, but am struggling. In 2012 my son committed suicide in his North Hollywood lock-out rehearsal studio at age 51 because he was unhappy with life. 4) My other son is in a Federal Prison

Continued..6) I’ve had 6 skin cancer surgeries all to my face, i let my vanity terrify me, but turned out great due to a good surgeon, stay out of the sun😬. 7) I have scars inside and out. 8) got my first tattoo at 60, says “fear less” a reminder to be brave. 9) I’m very lucky to live my retirement in comfort. 9) I love walking in our woods with nature. 10) I work out regularly, it’s almost better for my mind than my body.
