1950s leather jacket

This is a 1950s genuine horsehide motorcycle jacket. Very rare. The leather is thick and very heavy, polished worn on the edges and made originally to fit a smaller sized man. I've owned it since 1991 and it fit me perfectly as a size 8-10. The sleeves are nice and long since it was originally meant for men. The are zippered with real sheepskin inside the cuff to keep out wind. In the 80s it was customized professionally to be a comfortable motorcycle ride- a reinforced back of layered leather. Sides have leather thongs to snug for a good fit. Black satin lining is intact throughout. You will NEVER find another genuine horsehide 1950's jacket offered at this price. (This was originally a man's jacket, but the last 2 owners were women. You'd need to be a small, slender man to fit it. I am a 6' woman and it fits perfectly.) It does not have any tags at all and no evidence of ever there being any. Hence, it was a custom job for a motorcycle enthusiast in the 1950's.
