Description An original version of the legendary Lady Waffle Trainers first released in 1977. This was the first Waffle for women and was built on a narrower last. The iconic Waffle was named for the patented waffle iron-like pattern of the rubber outsole which Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman developed after being inspired by his wife’s waffle iron.
