1979 Franklin Mint Naoka Nobata Japan Oriental Birds Plate NOVEMBER Nuthatch Maple This is a mint condition collector series plate designed and signed by Japanese artist Naoka Nobata circa 1979 and produced by The Franklin Mint. Each plate is made from the finest porcelain and is in pristine condition - they look like they have never seen the light of day and the colors are deep and vibrant! Each plate features one bird and one flower species from the Orient and coincides with a month of the year. This plate is number 11 in the series, November, and features the Hondo Nuthatch and the Japanese Maple tree. Each plate measures 10-1/4 inches in diameter with 24kt gold gilt painted rims.
