50’s Mahogany Dark Brown Mink Stole | Short Collar & Brown Silk Lining

This ‘one size fits all’ beautiful stole is in very good vintage condition. The fur is intact, with the exception of the left corner’s tip. I believe the fur might have come off from it being stored over the years. I’ve looked closely at the base of the fur, and there seems to be no drying of the skin (or loose fur). The other thing I noticed, was a few slight pulls of the silk lining, near the neckline. Not visible from the exterior, and my guess it’s due to age and the weight of the fur pulling on the delicate fabric. This piece is hand stitched. I have two stoles, from my years of collecting leather and fur. I thought about up-cycling this one to make it into an ottoman cushion, and just haven’t gotten around to doing it.
