Extraordinary vintage find in YSL pink (perfect for v-day).
Never in my decades collecting YSL have I ever encountered pink "grain de poudre" wool.
Grain de poudre was the special wool reserved only for YSL Le Smoking pieces.
Black silk satin graphic lapel and cuffs. Big bold black buttons.
Pristine vintage condition (9.9999/10).
A few very light scratches on buttons.

Hello. Can you please look at my vintage YSL skirt suite listing and tell me if it’s the same fabric as your listing here? It looks the same and the tag is definitely the same era. If it is this same special material you mention in your listing , I won’t be surprised. I have a feeling they are similar. Wow. maybe I should hang onto it!!

@catastr0phik Hi, thanks for writing. I took a look. Yours is actually a satin, not a grain de poudre wool, which they use for tuxedos. But your piece is from the 1970s.
