Vintage Hermes Silk Jacquard Scarf, Kenya, by Robert Dallet was first issued in 1988 and like all his other designs, became an instant hit. 36x36 inches square. Some visible creasing from having been worn as a top. Would be improved with dry cleaning. I purchased this around 2015 from a vintage store in Paris called Carre de Paris. It’s a beautiful cream and golden palette with lions, leopards and antelope. There is a subtle leopard jacquard weave to the silk. It’s very special.

peytonck Your show a soiled/dirty area in one of the later photos. Have you had the scarf drycleaned? Or have you tried to clean the area yourself? I'm asking because I need to ascertain whether the soiled/dirty area can be cleaned IF I were to buy it.

moghan10 @glamgirlsale 🩵 hi! I bought this in Paris in 2012 during Fashion Week at a Left Bank vintage store. The artist is Robert Dallet, one of Hermès’ wildlife illustrators known for big cats. I got it as a memento (and I’m a Leo), but I’m not a scarf wearer, so I’m selling. Dallet created Jungle Love, Kenya, Africa, and Tigre du Bengale motifs. No certification, but all markings are present. Totally understand if you prefer to cancel.

glamgirlsale Wow that sounds like an amazing experiences if you believe that it's authentic like me I've made purchases directly from stores and I feel confident to say it's authentic or purchasing after something is authenticated that I've purchased 2nd hand that's why I ask .

moghan10 @glamgirlsale Yes it was a special store very few fashion items just art and some jewelry and a few accessories! I can’t remember the name of it, sadly. Let me know if you’d still like it! Sad to see it go but I think it’s a special and authentic item especially since it’s such a specific print and artist. Truly special.
