@wowmee Hello. Thank you so much for your interest and question. This brooch is from the mid 80's. At that time Robert Goossens was designing jewelry for YSL.
The main 'factory' for Lagerfeld, Chanel and YSL, LaCroix (among others) was in France, at that time, explaining the similarity in stones and finishes between collections of those fashion houses, of that particular era. Contemporary YSL jewelry is created in Italy and marked 'Saint Laurent France'. My best to you. Happy Poshing.
