malak68 @pamelajkay no, I don’t. They were just very low lightweight plastic. On my husband’s first flight with the bag, as carry-on in the overhead bin, something cracked two of them, so we had them removed.

malak68 @pamelajkay south boy’s has one for sale right now for $2000, and it does not have the insert and the exterior leather has some condition issues. This one will come with the insert, shoulder strap, and dustbag. (If I decide to sell it. I actually just posted it for a friend. If it sells, I will honor the sale, but I may decide to just keep it. 😊

malak68 @psychadeliq14 I’m sure a cobbler could do it. The originals were not very sturdy - which is not what you expect from the brand, especially when the bag is such nice thick leather and it is so structured in design. They did not have any branding on them, either, so any replacement would look equivalent.

malak68 @cherokeegrand It is made from thick substantial structured leather, so it is heavier than the plastic hard-side luggage. That said, we never found it cumbersome to carry (particularly with the shoulder strap which we also found handy for attaching it to the handle of a suitcase). If you stuffed it full and carried it just by the rolled handles I think it would be heavy. Hope that helps. If you want, I can weigh it and let you know how much the bag with the interior nylon garment bag weighs.

malak68 @cherokeegrand Yeah, I was pretty fond of this one, too. It was a limited release so you don’t see many of them around. I like the embossed matte look of the glacé leather - it’s a bit more understated than the monogram or vernis.
