Hello, are the straps secure with no breakage? my straps just broke on my bag. looking for a new one

@floridagirl7777 hi. The straps are secure. They are “weathered” however. Please see the added pictures. There is no zipper inside. 2 compartments. The bag was purchased in Paris in the 1990s. Perhaps the style was slightly different then. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
