Balenciaga Leather Motocross Shopping Tote, Griege (grey)

Fabulous vintage, authentic Balenciaga Motocross tote- I believe the style was just called “Shopping”. It has that classic Bal look in a very generous size-holds so much (open tote, no zipper.) Gorgeous grey tone color a real chameleon of a neutral. A bit hard to date without the paper tag but I believe this is “Griege” with “regular” brass hardware from Winter 2006 and would be Chèvre (goat) leather. Leather is very nice. Leather tag (as this style should have) indicates style “ 145704 213048 made in Italy”. Overall very good used vintage condition aside from the handles which have noticeable darkening on some of the surfaces (fairly typical- see photos)- I have not tried to restore or treat. Retailed for ~$1,175 US. This style was not made for very long. Comes with mirror (with pocket on back), extra tassels and dust bag. Zippered pocket on inside and outside front. Approximate measurements: 16 inches wide, 12 inches length, 6 inch depth at base, 6 inch handle drop. Black fabric lining- clean, no smells. Non-smoking home.
