At the time, this line was one of Coach's most expensive bags. Each bag was handmade (not handcrafted) using Italian leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant. Both the pebbled textured leather and brushed pearlized brass hardware have an antiqued quality meant to probably lend a classic "old world" elegance that you see in the European luxury bag market. This Sheridan Monticello is roomy, with a top handle and detachable crossbody strap. Coach called this color bone in contrast to white, which is a starker bright white, and taupe, which is darker gray-brown mix. I'd say creamy. Although the bag is in good condition, there are some small marks and scratches on the leather mainly in the back and wear on the bottom corners. You can also find some stretching.
