ct_thrift @azadehfarasat thanks for your inquiry. The ankle strap does move around and is not fixed to the back of the shoe. I'm honestly cannot speak for the comfortability as they were not originally mine. I own a consignment business in which I sale for others but they are in beautiful condition. Hope this helps.
