Vintage Yves Saint Laurent bracelet by Roger Scemama circa 1963 - fabulous book piece. The same bracelet appears in Adorning Fashion: The History of Costume Jewelry to Modern Times (pictured in the background of some of the photos above). Gilt wire scrolls meet at central faux pearls, clamper style, from a gilt wire wrapped hinge mechanism in the back.
