70's WILLIAMSBURG CAPITOL PARAGON NEEDLE CRAFT INC HAND-CROSS STITCHED CREWEL

Paragon Needle Craft Inc. was a company that specialized in creating DIY cross-stitch quilt kits from 1937-1982 thru stores such as: J.C. Penny, Sears, Macy’s, etc and catalogs, especially thru Lee Wards. National Paragon Corporation was engaged in the needlecraft business for more than 60 years. This piece originally was a kit "Designed and made expressly for Williamsburg restoration Inc." as it is printed on the side hem. Only a small amount of this particular kit was made which makes this a rare piece.
