joannanmata @wabisabi_2626 I am not qualified to respond to your question about how the industry measures the waist width of children's clothing. I checked the measurements for the stretched pants and it was 12 in flat. I could probably stretch it even more. Regardless, my son was an average size kid in his age cohort and these fit him from 22 months to 26 months.
