This set has been in our family since the 1900s. If u put a magnet on real sliver it won’t stick. The mag will attach to regular metal. This is sterling sliver. The fork and sooon is sliver. It was black I dipped it in sliver cleaner all blk was removed. It’s just been sitting. Don’t need it. Just to too clean it every now and then with sliver polishing cloth.very lil wear. A tiny dent at bottom.
