Hi - are the florals 'doing anything' (fastening the front of the blazer) or just for asthetics? I may want to replace them with a button if they would leave a mark at time of removal. Is this also from a non-smoking home? Thank you!

@susansseasons hi, yes from a non smoking home. I added more pictures of the florals. They are not holding the jacket together but I’m afraid they can not be removed.
