Antique Leather Postcards From the 1900s - Lot of 46 Vintage

From my dad’s collection of “stuff”. He has Alzheimer’s now. All monies raised from the sale of his items will be donated to Alzheimer’s research. You will receive the binder of 46 postcards. A unique piece of history. Closet price reflects value of $15 per postcard. Leather postcards from the 1900s were a short-lived fad, popular from about 1903 to 1907. Made from deerskin, they featured designs burned into the surface using pyrography, often with added ink. The U.S. Post Office banned them in 1907 because they caused problems with sorting machines.
