Antique Victorian Brass Postal Letter Scale Townshend & Co. c1888 Ornate

This antique Victorian brass postal/letter scale by Townshend & Co. dates to c.1888. It features a finely decorated pierced brass base with Greek key borders, lion masks, and ornate scrollwork. The scale includes one square brass letter tray, one circular removable pan, and one original small disc weight. It appears to be missing additional weights and a small flat tray. Dimensions: approx. 8" wide x 5" tall. Condition: Good antique condition with age-related patina, surface wear, and tarnish. Offered exactly as found.
