Antique Victorian Whitby jet black cameo jet glass beaded 66” mourning necklace

Excellent antique condition, there are a few small areas between hand knots where the string has more length than the others however it is not threadbare or at risk of breaking. This incredible 1800s mourning necklace qualifies as a muff guard with the beaded portion measuring an impressive 66” in length. Beads measure approximately 5mm and are constructed of French jet glass. Cameo features a right facing hand-carved high relief cameo of a woman's face and has been tested and is guaranteed to be the highest quality Whitby jet.
