Antique Civil War Dog & Bird Horn Flask Embossed Copper Powder Flask

100% original antique Civil War era powder flask with dog & bird design. Type of flask cased with Remington & Colt Navy revolvers. No manufacturer markings but likely manufactured by the American Flask & Cap Co in Waterbury, CT. Measures approx 6.5" long with angled spout. Spout measures approx. 1.5" long not counting the threads.Spring is strong & functions well. Flask has a nice patina retaining a decent amount of the original dark silvery lacquer finish showing wear to the high points & various small dents. Likely never cleaned or polished, just worn from use. Overall very nice condition & hard to find. The detailed pictures show the overall condition.
