There is a tab that will keep your items in the bill fold safe. This is my own personal piece and I use to tuck my phone in there. The zippers and snap closing are tight. Some of the photos make it look a little dark buts not. It's traffic light red. A couple of small spots of dark and a few spots of wear as shown in photos. The underside of the flap has a few marks from where I put things in the bill fold area. The vachetta strap has no chips or cracks just a few marks. No colour transfer on the vernis. Just a few darkened patches. I made them stand out in the photos although not easily seen in real life. Very clean and no odors.
