christeenham @kaosbj hi! The chain measures about 9" without the extension chain for adjustment. I will post a picture of it to show you. As for the silver, I'm not sure because it was a gift. However, it seems as though it is a good quality silver just from looking at it and comparing to some of my other sterling silver jewelry. Let me know if you have any more questions!! 😊😊😍

christeenham @kaosbj sorry. It measures about 8" without the extension. So about 11" with the chain fully extended and hooked as long as it will go. Hope this helps!!
