Beautiful Vintage Beauvais Embroidery Silk Compact Made in France

For your consideration is a vintage French silk compact with embroidered flowers. It features a black silk fabric with “Point de Beauvais" or "petit point" embroidery. Items with this type of embroidery were imported from France 1930s-1950s. Inside is a beveled mirror and what appears to be blush with puff. Please refer to the photos as they’re part of the description. There’s flowers are faded, the inside of the compact has some wear. The blush is cracked and used. The puff is discolored with blush, consistent with use. Otherwise it’s in very good preowned vintage condition. The clasp works well and there are no rips or tears to the silk.
