🔴LOWEST! Gilligan&O'Malley Vintage Metallic Iridescent Slip Dress

Vintage Gilligan and O'Malley piece! This was originally cami in size 3X, but the elastic around the top hem and the straps were curled and dead from age. This sheer metallic gold and red fabric is so beautiful, I just couldn't let this be the end for this top, so I did my best to upcycle it into a sexy, fun slip dress--great for lingerie or as a dress when paired with black shorts and an intricate bralette (pardon my basic bralette pairing in the photos--I think a bright red strappy bralette would look awesome with this!). I folded the underarms and back hem fabric inwards and sewed on top of it to tighten the fabric so it wasn't so loose and stretched out. I also detached the back straps so they could be tied at the back of the neck instead. Complete with double straps, a surplice wrap bust, a curved hem that creates side slit effects, and a low, slightly draped back. I took a video so you can see the color changing effect of the pretty fabric! It fits me as a size a size large, but I think it's better for a medium to be a little more drapey--I just couldn't get it to be that flowy slip dress vibe on me.
