This rare and hard-to-find Coach crossbody bag dates back to the 1980s and was proudly made in the United States from thick, glove-tanned leather. Style 0520-118, often mistaken for the Devon or other Madison line silhouettes, is nearly impossible to find—especially in the U.S. market. Most recent sales of this exact style have only appeared through Japanese vintage shops, never in black, underscoring its rarity. This a friend of my family’s first Coach bag, lovingly used and stored over the years. The leather has developed a soft vintage patina and still has a beautiful sheen. The bag features a wide zippered opening, a structured base, and dual slim leather straps for a classic shoulder or crossbody carry. Inside, you’ll find a zip pocket and the original creed stamp with serial number. There are minor signs of wear consistent with age, including soft creasing and some scuffs and scratches on the leather exterior. Interior shows mild wear, but no rips or major damage. There is what looks to be some white exposure from the back side of a price tag. Zipper is fully functional with that satisfying old-school brass glide.
