eightyonebraids @mmattix @mmattix After attempting to get the shutter count multiple times I found out that this model of Canon does not save shutter count to the image. This camera was purchased about 2 years ago and used a few times a month if that helps you gauge its usage.

slyfoxphotova @eightyonebraids you need to connect the camera to your computer to check shutter count, download Canon's EOS Utility software, it's under the "camera settings" tab
