I lived upstate in Binghamton for two years and then different parts of Brooklyn for 3 years 🙂 before I left I was living in Williamsburg! It's great. I loved it. In fact, I miss it. Though it's been 5 years since I've lived there, I went back for vacay last January and got the inside scoop about the L train being discontinued permanently (not sure if that's true bc it's a densely populated area-full of young professionals and hipsters mostly) it's got a lot of "new" development like industrial buildings converted into lofts.

I would stay away from Bushwick/East New York/Coney Island areas bc they are more "trouble areas" but I lived in Bushwick. Lol
