Denby Chevron / Camelot Salt and Pepper Shakers with Original Stoppers Vintage Matte Satin Dark Green Stoneware S&P Need New Stoppers The lovely ‘Chevron’ pattern from Denby was introduced in the UK 1964. In the US the distinctive tread effect of the pattern had to be renamed ‘Camelot’, as the original was the name of a rather well known chain of gas stations. Chevron / Camelot features a matte-satin dark olive green. There is a lighter green version of this pattern that came later. This lovely dark olive green series was discontinued in 1982.
