whaleyramsey Do you know for certain what any stone is ? Has a local jeweler given you a value/ description like they will for homeowners insurance ? They will give you a verbal est for free , but if you need a written established explanation for ins then there is a small charge. It’s a different and stunning piece but , USUALLY if the metal isn’t pure- the stones are not. But a jeweler could verify that for you. Interested in info you have on it. Age? Thank you. It’s really a neat piece.

glesga52 @whaleyramsey. this was bought from high end estate sale yes it can be worn as both a brooch & a pendant. I'll be withdrawing this Monday at this crazy sale price...So plz don't snooze or you'll lose this amazing deal. I biught this as very Celtic looking & I'm a full blooded Scottish Lass!!!

whaleyramsey @glesga52 the back has a sep stone inset. If you compare w another multi stone piece( back) you will see the difference. But each designer ( artist ) has a signature. Even a google photo search may help finish your story. Bc there is a lot of stain glass left from diff eras , but only one Tiffany. It appears to be a finer costume piece, but deserves to be identified. It may be a “designer” Paste piece, but finer costume pieces were made to replicate the real deal.

whaleyramsey If they offer to buy it , get another opinion! But thank them and tell them you may consider it. Bc that may be very true. Once you notice what I clearly see -you will agree. Even now high end costume isn’t cheap, but far better made bc of the price of gold. Just noticed a marked diff in back.

whaleyramsey Only trying to help. It’s a nice piece for sure. But I found your site while searching for a 30” vintage pocket watch necklace. That’s how I found so many nice pieces. But unfortunately my girls don’t use their fine pieces anymore , nor express any interest in mine. Or contents of the home so that’s been taken care of in writing to avoid the usual estate sale. Not! 😂
