Equestrian Riding Boots

Vintage, unbranded equestrian riding boots that were made in the USA. English riding boots are tall, black leather boots used for horseback riding in English disciplines. These boots are designed to support the rider's leg and prevent chafing. Dress boots are traditionally black, do not have lacing at the ankle, and are generally stiffer. They are worn by dressage riders, eventers, and at formal fox hunts. This is from Kentucky 1973, I was taking English riding and jumping lessons. I was only a few months in when my husband was transferred to Colorado so these are lightly used.
