This vase is special because it is not typical of vases from this time period. It is not bohemian or Czech, it was actually made in France. Most amazing is that I’ve only seen one other in my 40 years in glass collecting, and it had more damage AND flaws. This one does not have any cracks OR manufacturing imperfections, it DOES have a small chip flea bite on the outer rim. I did my best to get a couple of photo angles. Standing next to the vase, it is very hard to see. You really have to know it’s there. This is a Rare Antique Early 1900s Lovely HEAVY Amethyst Hand Cut to clear Large Crystal Vase. Vase is Finely Detailed Throughout in a Magnificent Floral Pattern. Originally Priced $4500. Approx: 10 3/4" H x 5 3/4" W So VERY RARE because of the Intense STUNNING Amethyst color.
