A Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythical creature. Pixiu are considered powerful protectors of feng shui practitioners. A Pixiu is a special creature for wealth. It is said to have a want for gold, silver, and jewels, so it is said that by wearing a Pixiu necklace, you attract wealth and prosperity to you. This was a gift and I’m unsure of the materials it’s made from - possibly natural Cinnabar. Great preowned condition!
