Hi I am new to this. Can you explain? How do I avoid being scammed too?
princy22
@vickyngo621 Hey there! Welcome to poshmark :) Any item that you're selling at $500 or more in value gets sent to poshmark headquarters to be authenticated. Then they will ship item to customer who purchased it. So you're protected in that way. Items under $500 you will ship out directly to customer. I like to videotape myself placing item in packaging and giving to teller at the post office just in case buyer says there was no item in box (Trying to scam). Hope this helps you! 😊💗

@princy22 ohhhhh. Ok. Thank you for your helpful tips! I'm still learning. :)

@princy22 ok thank you for your kindness ❤️

That’s a nice process! Thanks
princy22
@ebonnedavis It helps because unfortunately not everyone is an honest buyer 👌👌

GREAT idea!

@lauraliz1986 It's better to be safe than sorry! 🙌😎✔👌

@princy22 I'm so paranoid about this happening, but this seems like a good strategy.

I'll add that, the only 2 reviews that I've received that haven't been 5 stars came from lowballers who couldn't claim that the item wasn't as described. 🙄 Not exactly a scam, but just crummy people out there.

Thanks for the tip on how you cover yourself for the higher priced items under $500. I think I will record as well for protection! Happy Poshing! 💕
princy22
@blogbeautifully I'm glad it helps! You just can't trust people :( It's better to be safe and take videos/pictures of items so buyers can't say product was damaged or wasn't as described 👌👍 Btw- you have a lovely closet! 😍♡ Best of luck!

@princy22 Thanks, love! You are so right. That happened to me on a $30 sale 😳 on one of my boutique items (that was brand new in the bag, with tags!). So I was a little nervous about posting some of my luxury items that are under $500. 💕

I just had a buyer accept a order then two days later they changed their five star review to a one star review stating the item did not work. Where is the seller protection from Poshmark. once the order is accepted and review is left the buyer should not be able to change the review because they destroyed the item.

@princy22 I have video and photos and the buyer did this to me. @awesluxury90210 It makes it hard to sell on here! People are just terrible! Sorry that happened to you :(
awesluxury90210
@princy22 Poshmark said it is for the buyers experience doing reviews whenever.
