"Vans is paying homage to its oft-forgotten Serio line with tthe Lowland CC....back in the ’80s, the California-based brand attempted to move into other realms of athletic footwear like running, boxing and breakdancing with the Serio line. Serio has been dragged out of the archives and is enjoying a moment in the spotlight thanks to this trifecta of classically styled Lowland CCs. Although the Lowland is inspired by ’90s skate shoes, it’s an apt canvas for the “revival” of the Serio line thanks to its versatile look. Uppers are constructed of a tightly woven mesh, which is quickly overlaid with suede and leather panels. A large, layered V logo appears on the midfoot and reaches all the way up to the collar. More Vans branding appears on tongue tags and heel tabs, while the look is completed by a ComfyCush footbed, foam rubber midsole and gum rubber outsole."
