Gardner Furrier Vintage Black Lapin Fur Cape S/M

I was simply unable to take photos that give this gorgeous lapin fur cape it's justice. It may appear brown in some photo's due to the bright lights needed to show details. The fur is definitely a beautiful, highly saturated black. The pelts are in fabulous condition: soft, supple and oh, so shiny. The matching black satin lining is in perfect condition. The cape features a collar that can be worn down or up for warmth and/or drama Large arm slits hidden by flaps when not in use. Two hook and loop closures. One at the neck and one and the chest. If I didn't know that this cape was vintage (Gardner's was a well known furrier in the 30's and 40's) I would swear it was nearly new (there may be some minor surface dirt). It has, obviously, been lovingly cared for and gently worn. Rabbit fur is known as "Lapin" and is definitively the most popular fur in fashion thanks to its heavenly soft feel, beauty and versatility.
