Giant African Marigold~ Orange and Yellow Mix FRESH 2024 Whole Seed Heads BULK SEEDS!! 100% Organically Grown There are mostly large heads in this batch, with a few small/med sized ones. Each head has at least 100 seeds, with some of the larger ones having closer to 200. These are unsorted. We just cut all of the spent flowers off of the best plants, and fully dry the entire flower head, removing the petals and leaving the seed pod intact. So there are varying sizes, but since this is the giant marigold, they are mostly large pods. And there's a mix of orange and yellow. Although it may not be a 50/50 mix. 1/2 oz is going to be from 15 to 20 heads and have 3000+ Seeds These are fourth season/generation, fully organic, from our gardens here. The first year we planted them, they had about 3" blooms. This year, many of the blooms were up to 5" in diameter! & the plants got so large that the branches would come off at the base, they were so loaded w/blooms. So pruning or staking may be necessary. The upside to the branches coming off is that you can put them in water for about a week or 2, and they will get roots on them, & you can plant them & have a whole full sized plant, already blooming from it. I created about 10 or 12 new plants this way this year. The seed heads are all harvested from the most recent growing season, and with a very high germination rate.
